Helena Center of Creative Living

Helena Center of Creative Living in Helena, Montana is seeking a minister. Our center, founded in 1997, has 41 members and Sunday attendance of 20 to 30 people. In addition to Sunday services, our center has a women’s creative thinking group, has periodic classes and hosts musical performances. Our church office is in an office building which is a renovated Catholic hospital. Sunday services are held in a meeting room which was once the hospital chapel.

We are seeking a leader with a deep personal spiritual practice, a grounding in New Thought principles, inspirational speaking ability and administrative skills.

Helena, Montana, the capital of Montana, is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The population of Helena and the surrounding valley is approximately 50,000 people. Cost of living is below the national average. Helena is about halfway between Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks. Recreational opportunities are abundant – fishing, hiking, skiing, cycling and watersports are minutes away. Helena has been designated one of the top 100 small arts communities in the country. The city has museums, galleries, a center for international ceramic artists as well as music and theater with local and visiting performers.

Helena Center of Creative Living has a strong board and a paid staff member now coordinating services with visiting ministers, congregants and guest speakers.
